About The Foundation

Why was the Lariat Future Innovators Foundation founded?

We believe in giving brilliant students, regardless of where they’re from, the chance to pursue a college degree in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). It’s why we decided to create these scholarship programs, which are meant to provide students living in rural areas the chance to attend a university and pursue what they love – even as tuition costs rise and becomes increasingly out of reach. These students reside in small towns that likely are without museums, robust learning programs or, in some cases, big clubs and high school sports teams.

A promising future isn’t out of reach because of financial need. Our purpose is to inspire the next generation of innovators, like you, that can have a life-changing impact on the world.

What’s our focus?

We know that living in a small town doesn’t stop you from thinking and dreaming big.

Our Lariat STEM Scholarship is focused on students from rural regions across the United States who want to pursue degrees in math and science. These areas include fields such as aeronautical and astronautical engineering, biosciences and pre-med, chemical engineering, chemistry, nuclear engineering, oceanography, physics and much more!

Applications for our STEM Scholarship will open on January 1, 2024 and
are due by June 15, 2024.
